FlexiGroBots was presented at the 47th edition of the Satelec ETSIT Forum, an event organised by students of the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSIT - UPM).
Since its creation in 1973, the objective of Satelec has been to bring the new products and job opportunities of the participating companies to the students of the last courses of the UPM. After 46 editions we can be proud of being the oldest university forum, organized exclusively by students, gaining every year in the number and variety of visitors, and adapting our objectives and circumstances to those of Spanish society.
Within the session "Atos Research & Innovation: Shaping The Future", our Project Coordinator, Daniel Calvo Alonso made the presentation "FlexiGroBots - Robotics and AI for the automation of Precision Agriculture operations" focused on sharing the project's motivation, objectives, and expected outcomes. An overview of the three pilots was also presented.
